NSW Police is searching for the husband of a woman allegedly beaten to death inside her Western Sydney home in the early hours of this morning.Key points:Adam Cureton has not been seen since his wife was killed early this morningSabah Hafiz’s father says his daughter has been married for “a few years”Ms Hafiz described herself as a “model” and an “extra” seeking workPolice were called to a block of apartments at Wentworthville after a neighbour reported a woman to be badly injured about 2:40am.Two ambulances carrying a team of paramedics pulled into Lane Street, but despite their best efforts, Sabah Hafiz, 23, died at the scene.”We believe she has been assaulted, but we are unsure if any weapon was used,” Detective Acting Superintendent Simon Glasser said.”It is a tragic outcome — we are taking it extremely seriously and we have established a strike force to investigate the circumstances of this murder.”Investigators want to speak with her husband, Adam Cureton, 24, who also lived at the property.”Police have concerns for the male’s welfare and we ask him or anyone that knows his location to contact police,” Acting Superintendent Glasser said. Police work at the home where Sabah Hafiz died after what they say appears to be an assault.(ABC News)A man who lives one floor up from the crime scene said he did not know the couple well, but described Ms Hafiz as “beautiful”.”She was kind of like a loner — she didn’t really speak to anyone, but she was really an attractive woman,” he said.Neighbour Das Kumar said the alleged murder was very concerning.”Really, I was so stunned and so surprised thinking, ‘Is it a safe country or safe suburb to live in?’ because there was another murder a couple of months back,” he said.Leanne Warton was walking to the shops with her friend Robyn when the pair heard about the alleged murder this morning.”Very sad to know it happened not far from where we live, in the same street,” Ms Warton said.”I feel sorry for the people, the family.”Sabah Hafiz has a profile on StarNow.com, listing herself as a “model” and “extra” seeking work.”I’m trying to get experience in this field and if I do get paid, that’s great too,” it reads.”It’s something I never thought about doing, but I do enjoy being spontaneous and trying new hobbies from time to time so yeah, really keen to do this.”Anyone who has seen Mr Cureton or knows what happened to Ms Hafiz is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
