Samsung Galaxy S21 Series to be launched with Snapdragon 888 and a S-Pen Support for the Ultra | Gadgets in Nepal

The last-gen Galaxy S20 series was a hit in the market with amazing features and excellent performance. But after the recent launch of the iPhone 12, people had been anticipating the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series and Now finally the Samsung Galaxy S21 series has been launched. Everyone is excited about Samsung’s next-gen flagship phones getting a newer Snapdragon 888 5G SoC.  The phone will have an Octa-core processor with one Kyro 680 core clocked at 2.84GHz, three Kyro 680 cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and four Kyro 680 cores clocked at 1.80GHz.The capacity of the L1 and L2 cache has also been doubled. The Cortex X1 can clock up to 2.84 GHz.
The Chipset and the CPU are complemented by Adreno 660 GPU, which targets 35% faster rendering performance while increasing power efficiency by 20% and aiming to provide up to 144 fps while gaming.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series will also have an Exynos variant with Exynos 2100 SoC. The Exynos SoC will be paired with a Cortex X1 core that can execute 33% more instructions per clock than the Cortex A78. The Exynos variant will have an Octa-core processor with one Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.80 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz.
The graphics will be handled by Adreno 660 for the Snapdragon variant whereas Mali-G78 MP14 GPU will handle the graphics for the Exynos variant.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series features a triple camera setup in the S21 and S21 Plus whereas S21 Ultra will have a quad camera setup. The S21 and S21 Plus will have a 12 MP wide(f/1.8) sensor for the primary camera and the other two cameras are a 12MP ultrawide lens and 64MP telephoto camera with 1.1x optical zoom and 3x hybrid zoom along with a 10-megapixel selfie camera. It supports dual PDAF with a 12MP lens and is 1/2.55″ big, similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with additional AF.
Talking about the S21 Ultra, the phone features a 2nd gen 108MP wide(f/1.8) sensor for the primary camera and other cameras are 10MP(240mm) periscope telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, 10MP(70mm) telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and finally a 12MP ultrawide camera. Simultaneously, S21 Ultra will have an additional lens and a jump to 108 MP in the primary sensor.


Samsung has made a significant change in displays by replacing the curved screens to a flat display on the Galaxy S21 series. The base model S21 will have a 6.2-inch display, the Plus will have a jump to 6.7 inches, and the Ultra will have a 6.8-inch display. Not only the change from the curved to the flat panels, but Samsung also has dropped the display resolution on the S21 and S21 Plus from last year’s 3200 x 1440 to a 2400 x 1080 resolution. Whereas, the S21 Ultra will still have a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. But all three phones shall have a refresh rate of 120Hz. And unlike last year S21 Ultra will be able to still have a 120Hz refresh rate even at full resolution.
All three phones will have batteries ranging in size from 4,000 mAh to 5,000 mAh with S21 having a 4000mAh battery with a step up to a 4800mAh on the S21 Plus and finally, the S21 Ultra will have a massive 5000 mAh battery.
Due to the entry of Foldables, the Note lineup is coming to an end. So, the S21 will have S-pen support, but it is available only in the S21 Ultra. 

Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Price In Nepal and Availability
The phone has been launched recently and the price has been unveiled of all three models of the S21 series. The Galaxy S21 starts at $799, while the Galaxy S21 Plus starts at $999 both with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. But you can always pay extra and get the 256GB variant. Whereas the Galaxy S21 Ultra starts at $1,199 for a 128GB model with 12GB of RAM and you can get storage options up to 512GB. The Samsung Galaxy S21 price in Nepal(Converted) would be approximately Rs. 93,400 for the S21, Rs. 116,800 for the S21 Plus and finally Rs.140,100 for the S2Ultra
