Vivo Y31s launched with entry-level Snapdragon 480 5G SoC

With the 5G being integrated into most chipsets, Qualcomm had also gone forward to build Snapdragon 480 5G, an entry-level chipset with an integrated 5G modem. And after some time of the reveal of the Snapdragon 480, Vivo has now come up with Vivo Y31s, the first phone with the Snapdragon 480 5G. The device has been launched in China, with sales starting from January 15. Let’s head into the article to discuss the features, specifications, and Vivo Y31s price in Nepal.
Vivo Y31s Overview
Design and Display
Vivo Y31s features a 6.58 inch IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution. The phone features a waterdrop notch display with a 90.61% screen-to-body ratio and has a refresh rate of 90hz.
Talking about the phone’s overall design comes in a plastic built, and the design also looks pretty good. The rear has a dual-camera setup on the side and a vertical Vivo branding on the bottom of the same side. And about the fingerprint sensor,  unlike the last year’s Vivo Y30 it has been placed on the power button.

Snapdragon 480 5G
Recently, Qualcomm announced the integration of the 5G modem in an entry-level chipset with the Snapdragon 480.  And the Vivo Y31s becomes the first phone to be powered with the entry-level 5G chipset. The Snapdragon 480 is complemented by the 6GB LDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.11 storage. The phone runs on an Octa-core processor with Kyro 460 cores clocked up to 2.0 GHz and Adreno 619 GPU.
Vivo Y31s comes with Android 11 as the operating system on top of Funtouch 10.5
Camera and Battery
Talking about the optics, the phone comes in a dual-camera setup on the rear with a primary camera of 13MP wide lens and 2MP depth sensor. Whereas on the front, you get an 8MP wide selfie camera. The impressive thing is that the back camera can shoot up to [email protected] 
On the endurance of the phone, the Vivo Y31s features a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support of up to 18W. The battery will take you through a day or even two with a less demanding chipset, and the 18W fast charger will fill up the juice in a decent time. 
And other specifications of the phone include a dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 with A2DP, LE, A-GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0.

Vivo Y31s Price in Nepal
Vivo Y31s has been launched recently in China, and pre-orders started with sales starting from January 15. The phone is available in a 6+128GB variant, and the device is priced at 1,698 Yuan. Converting the price, the Vivo Y31s price in Nepal would be Rs. 30,718.
